Fashion Confusion....Juicy Couture, Couture In The City Fashion Blog

When I think of Juicy Couture, I usually cringe. Visions of sugarplum colored velour track suits and hideous satches dance through my head. Case in point:

Juicy Couture Velour Track Jacket, $92.00

Velour Classic Daydreamer with Pin and Pom Poms
Juicy Couture Velour Classic Daydreamer
with Pin and Pom Poms, $175.00

Need we say more? However, yours truly sometimes finds herself ogling over Juicy's more demure styles.

V-Neck Kimono Tunic
Juicy Couture V-Neck Kimono Tunic, $110.00

Silk Three-Quarter Sleeve Mod Dress
Juicy Couture Silk Three-Quarter Sleeve Mod Dress, $258.00

Velvet Trim Pea Coat
Juicy Couture Velvet Trim Pea Coat, $398.00

So therefore, I am torn between trashing JC for their horrible bags and velour sweats, or giving them props for really graceful and timeless styles. I guess that I can do both.

One thing that I will say about Juicy Couture is that, unlike many other higher end brands, they cater to girls of the bustier, and larger, persuasion. That's right, that means that they offer sizes in XL and they are actually pretty true to an XL size. Fashion for all...I guess Juicy isn't that bad after all.

What Juicy botique have you been going to? I've never seen size XL and when I asked at the botique, the largest size they say they go up to is 12 (their L). I'm a 12 and their clothes don't fit me, they fit more like 10s.

Saks! I wear a 16/18 and their XL tops and dresses fit me. You can also get XL Juicy stuff onlinr.

Some of their clothes dont fit me either. I bought a petite-sized blouse, and it is too large. So I personally think their sizes run large.
