Kylie Minogue Styles Beachwear For Hennes & Mauritz

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue and Swedish clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz have cooperated in making a beachwear line that the singer would also model, the Swedish group said Friday.

The "H&M loves Kylie" line of 15 styles is to go on sale in mid- May and aimed at presenting a "relaxed, sporty, beach-life feel mixed with the glam look."

"When we think Australia and glamour we think Kylie, who is such a stylish person," Hennes & Mauritz head of design Margareta van den Bosch said in a statement.

Ten per cent of the money spent on the beachwear line would be donated to the charity WaterAid that aims to provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people.

The Swedish clothing retailer has in recent years cooperated with the US pop star Madonna on a fashion line. Hennes & Mauritz operates around 1,300 stores in 24 countries.
